I’ve moved my website off of SquareSpace. Their recent outage and hosting costs combined with my desire to do fancy things with Jekyll motivated me to make the move, which was fairly easy, if somewhat technical. (Amazon S3 doesn’t have a way to set A records, so I had to move the domain to Amazon Route 53.)

This move will also let me do some fancy things in ruby to make a dynamic CV. Eventually.

The old posts should work just fine and maintain their old URL patterns. New ones will not have the year in them. Some of the old posts will have strange artifacts in them or missing links and footnotes until I go in and manually edit them, which is easy because I didn’t really write that much before.
